Santa Claus has decided to take the year off and he's giving you and your classmates a chance to take over. You are now tasked with bringing gifts to everyone in the world on one night. Since there are many jobs at the North Pole, such as elf supervisor and lead packager, pick a job that would best fit each of your classmates and explain why they'd be so good at that job.

We have H.E. today from 9:30-10:15.  I have duty this morning.  We will work on creative writing piece for the holidays today and tomorrow.  We will work on reading projects today.  You will have 50 minutes today to finish up.  We present tomorrow.  :)  Mr. Wild and I's present to you will be after lunch today.  :)   Yesssssssss.   I can't wait to give my present.  I love being your teacher!  I am so blessed to have you all in my classroom this year. Lets finish strong!

Announcements:  We have H.E today from 9:30-10:15.  I want you to know I have received comments on how excited people were to see your character posters.  Many could not take their eyes off of your artistic work and how many of you used textual evidence sentence starters.  Very impressive!  

Today you will continue to draft your final piece in writing.  You will continue to work on your novel projects in reading.  Please remember to slow down and take your time.  Finishing first does not always mean it is your best work.  Lets make this project shine, like the star you are!  Last day for science and social studies until after break.  We will finish our snowmen today.  I will send home the ones that you have purchased.  :)  We will have another art project tomorrow this one is for your parents!  More art next week!  :)

Welcome back boys and girls.  I wanted to recognize those who really held our classroom together yesterday.  These people brought leadership and good choices to our classroom.  You are the glue that holds our community together.  You are so appreciated.  Please remember we have two weeks until school is out for break.  We have so much going on in the next 2 weeks, lets finish strong!  We have H.E from 9:30-10:15.  We will hand write our final drafts for our personal narrative the next two days.  I will continue to meet with all of you!  We will finish character posters in reading and begin our novel projects.  I am so excited excited to see more of your creative side.  This project is very important as it covers many standards in reading.  :)  In math we will continue to multiple and divide!  We will play some games at the end of the week.  You have science all afternoon today.  Please be respectful and engaged as the man who is coming is volunteering all of the time he is spending at our school.  Wow!   I can wait to have a great day with you all!

We have health enhancement today from 9:30-10:15.  I have duty today too!  In writing we will continue revise and begin to look at creating our final draft.  Please listen to your writing partners and the revising notes I have left you.  You have really interesting stories, make them come a live for the reader.  You have worked so hard for this piece of writing!  Write strong!  In reading today we will be working on our character poster designs.  They are due next Tuesday.  We will continue using tape diagrams and dividing today in math.  Book orders are due tomorrow!  Lets have a great day!
