We had library today. We will continue to look at our characters to find out more about them as people.  We will continue our work on our original narratives.  In math workshop we will continue to bring the concept of rounding to life.  :)  We have our rehearsal for our concert today at 1:45pm.  It will be an hour long.  We will have recess after.  We will be mystery skyping this week.  We will practice today.  :)  Remember it is a fantastically fun week this week, but we still have a lot to accomplish as learns too.  Lets finish strong and leave feeling good about that goal.  I love you all!

We have H.E. from 9:45-10:30.  We will continue to study our characters as readers.  We will begin organizing our original narratives in writer's workshop.  We will begin Unit 3 in math workshop with a pretest.  The pretest will help me form math groups and individual learning for the unit!  We will carry on as historians learning about the beginning of a western North America.

We have H.E. today.  We will take a reading assessment for growth for reading.   Lets take our time and not rush.  Your goal should be to have a stronger brain muscle than you did the first couple of weeks of school.  I know you know so much more!   We will be making ornaments for our fleece blankets for kids in need fundraiser on Friday! Let's finish strong to day and make our community the place we love to be!

We have music from 10-10:30am.  Please don't forget you snack or coat.  Your brain needs food so the muscle can grow strong while learning today!  Our publishing part is in 2 days.  If you have not finished the editors version you have 2 days to accomplish your goal.  I know you can do it!  

We will be working on our Reading Fair Projects, our Birthday Plan Project and Personal Narratives today.  You will have two extra hours to work on projects at the end of the day too.  We will be making ornaments on Friday!  

Don't forget we are striving to make sure all in our community have a sense of belonging.

We will begin our new unit for reader's workshop!  We will begin looking at our characters.  You will pick one to follow over the next 3 weeks of learning. Thanks for working hard on your personal narrative.  YOur publishing party is this Friday.  We need to have your published piece ready by then.  :)  I know you can do it!  We will continue to brainstorm for our original narratives.    In math we will do more with multiplication and graphing this week.   Lets have a great day friends!  I love you all so much!
