I missed you yesterday, but Mr. Wild, Mrs. Colombo and I were busy planning lots of fun, engaging tasks for you for after break!

We have H.E. today.  We will take the STAR Assessment for growth for reading and math today.  Lets take our time and not rush.  Your goal should to have a stronger brain muscle than you did the first couple of weeks of school.  I know you know so much more!  We will be starting our Immersion Math tomorrow.  We will finish up our personal narratives too.  We will be making ornaments for our fleece blankets for kids in need fundraiser! You will have music with the whole 3rd  grade on Friday too.  Let's finish strong to day and make our community the place we love to be!

We have H.E. today from 9:45-10:15.  Please don't forget you snack or coat.  Your brain needs food so the muscle can grow strong while learning today!  We are going to vote on our favorite service learning project for December today.  Each class will vote for their favorite and then we will vote again for the best one out of the three.  We will be making our ornaments to sell on December 16th and will sell them at our winter concert on December 20th.

We will be working on our Reading Fair Projects, our Birthday Plan Project and Personal Narratives today.  You will have two extra hours to work on projects at the end of the day too.

Don't forget we are striving to make sure all in our community have a sense of belonging.  We do not want anyone to feel like the red block.

We will continue with our Personal Narratives.   I will meet with each of you this week.  We are going to review your writing.   We will continue our fiction unit this week in reading.  Will will have extra time on our boards this week.  We will not be switching for social studies this week.  My friend Greg will be in to introduce you to robotics today fro 1:30-3:30.  Please use you good choice making skills today.  On Wednesday and Thursday will will have all afternoon to work on our boards, as well as, reading time.  :)  We will finish our birthday planning letters this week and put them up on Seesaw Friday.  We will assess our knowledge of adding, subtracting, and rounding next Monday.  Lets have a spectacular day together!

We have music from 10:00-10:30.  I have recess duty this morning.  :)  It was fun to watch the videos that were uploaded into SeeSaw yesterday for math.  We do not have everyone's, yet.  You can work last recess to get it filmed and uploaded!  Do you have any ideas for how to have a quieter filming session?  Is there something we can do differently?  I have some ideas, but I bet yours are better!
