We have music from 10:00-10:30.  You have a musical concert coming up soon!  We will be finishing our compare and contrast paragraphs today.  You will be exploring natural disasters the rest of this week.  You will pick your type of disaster next Monday.  This week is exploring time as a writer!  In math we will create posters for our geometry lesson and create division problem stories.  You have science today.  Remember the last 6 weeks of school is how you will be remembered.  Be remembered for making people feel special!  I love you all so much!

We have our art project today from 10:45-12:15.  You will be going down in your small groups.  Group 5 will be going first.  We will begin another nonfiction text structure today.  As writers will be really anaylzing our Sugar overload essays.  After looking them over this weekend, I see misconception we need to address. :)  As mathematicians, we will continue to dive deep into our new math module.  I have a group of independents that will work through a whole Khan Academy course and help each other.  I will be meeting with you today.  As historians we will be diving deeper into the Industrial Revolution and the Civil War.   Don't forget to be so good they have to notices you!

We have music today at 10am.  We also have an artist in residence who will be work with us 1 day a week for 3 weeks.  She will be coming in today at 11:30-  Please show her your best character.   Don't forget we have class pictures coming next week, forms will go home in tomorrow's mail! We will continue to learn about Context Clues as readers.  We will have math today but will not have writing.  We will look at our conference information after last recess today.  Be ready to collect evidence and analyze yourself as a learner and community member.   Remember our motto, " Stay Strong!"  This is so important for the remainder of the year.  Continue to strive to be the best leader you can be.  Make our community the place you want it to be, a happy, positive place.  :)
