We will continue to learn about the structures of nonfiction reading. We will begin our research writing unit in 1 week! We will begin our Sugar ELA Summative Assessment for the district at the end of the week. What fun lies ahead. As mathematicians, we are going to start working with more fractions this week. We have a big couple of weeks a head of us. We have have MOSS visiting us next Monday and Tuesday. Monday the will come into our classrooms for 1 hr and then on Tuesday we will be taking a walking field trip to the pond to begin our study for our fish. We will then be going every two weeks to test and field journal. Your findings will be shared by you with a letter to F.W.P informing them of the water conditions and releasing our fish. We will be learning to fly fish and tie flies at the end of May. We have Shakespeare in the Park coming to perform a play next week and will be coming in for a classroom training too.
I am so excited that we are refreshed and ready to get some learning in for the rest of the year!
We are going to try some new games for leadership this week too!
