Quote of the Day:

Announcements:
We have music today from 10-10:30am.  You did an amazing job at conferences.  You were honest and thoughtful.  I hope your parents enjoyed it too!  Thank you for being mature and having a growth mind set!  We will begin the last module in unit 1 math.  We will continue to discover more about how the Pilgrims (Separatists) shape the land we live on today.  We will continue to learn more about the elements of fiction.  We will dive deeper into our personal narrative writing.  Lets have a great day!

New Equipment to play with:  GaGa Ball

Meadowlark Rules:

The game starts with players touching a wall of the pit.
One student in the middle tosses the ball and the players say 'GA' “GA” for the first two bounces, and 'GO' on the third bounce, and then the game starts.

Once the ball is in play, any player can hit the ball with an open or closed hand.

Players cannot hold, carry or throw the ball.

Players cannot hit the ball twice in a row.

Players cannot use the walls to help in avoiding the ball.

Once there are only 3 players left, you can hit the ball twice.

Once there are only 2 players left, students can start a countdown of 30 seconds for the game to end.

The goal of the game is to get everyone out.
You are out if:
The ball hits you below the knees,
You hit the ball out of the pit,
You hit someone in the head,
You hit the ball twice,
You hold or throw the ball, or

You use the wall to avoid the ball.
